HAR headshot-adjI have been writing for businesses and associations for more than 20 years with the goal of communicating specific messages to specific audiences, asking for specific responses.

So how’s it gone?
• Using my copy and renewal campaign, a medical society raised almost $2 million dollars a year in membership fees and grew their membership by several thousand in six years.
• I published the first electronic newsletter for the newspaper industry to rave reviews. You can read some of the publishers’ comments in the “Testimonials” section.
• I have helped businesses communicate with their employees with newsletters and newspapers to reduce turnover and increase employee satisfaction.

I’ve always liked a challenge, so I’ve worked in several spheres, including retail, higher education and the association world.  In each, I’ve had to be a quick study, learning the industry well before starting writing projects.
