The Future of Freelancing

01/07/2016 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Can you think of a more important topic to launch the new year? If there’s one meeting you should attend, this one’s it!

Remember the time when “freelancers” referred only to people like us? Now, in this new economy and ever-evolving workplace, the term can apply to just about anyone. What’s more, any rules you might have followed in the past are in continuous rewrite today.

It’s a whole new world out there. As the freelance economy becomes mainstream, how will you best position yourself to take advantage of emerging trends?

Not to worry: help is on the way. At our January meeting, Patrick Ward and Cara Lucas, two employment pros from Kinetix, will take a look forward into 2016 to help us strategically plan the next steps in our careers and stay on track building successful businesses. From social media to thought leadership, Cara and Patrick will present a bootstrapper’s guide to successful freelancing in this new economy.

And they should know. Kinetix (www.kinetixhr.com) is a recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) firm for growth companies. Kinetix leverages an integrated services model comprised of total RPO, staffing/recruiting and HR consulting to help clients ensure that growth will never be slowed by an inability to acquire and retain the best talent. As Patrick told us: “We’ve got the goods, and we want to share them with you!”

Your future begins on January 7. See you then!
