An Atlanta-based writer, producer and video director, Harry Hayes creates engaging video content for brands, businesses, startups and nonprofit organizations.
Why should companies consider video marketing? Because over 100 million people watch online videos every day. 76% of marketers plan to increase their use of video. And watching video makes consumers 64% more likely to buy.
For Harry, the game changing moment came about ten years ago. After two decades as an agency writer and creative director, working on Budweiser, AT&T, Hitachi and InterContinental Hotels, he directed his first web video.
“I had written some freelance web video scripts for Intel. Then a few weeks later, the agency asked if I could produce the video for them as well, here in Atlanta.”
He worked with a local production company, a local crew, and local actors. And the rest, as they say, is history.
“Since then, I’ve learned a lot. I started editing with Final Cut, then Adobe Premiere Pro, and then After Effects. I started buying cameras and lenses and all kinds of equipment.”
That led Harry to start his own video content business—Content Puppy.
“The industry has changed a lot in the last few years. Brands are creating their own content, and using content marketing to connect with consumers. At Content Puppy, I help businesses and brands create the content they need.”
