Charged one ABQ client $150 more than my usual rate and got the weirdest result
I run social media for small businesses here in Albuquerque and for 2 years I charged everyone the same flat $400 a month. Back in January I got tired of a client in Nob Hill who texted me at 11pm every night, so I quoted her $550 just to make her go away. She said yes in 4 minutes and then referred me to 3 other people at that same price. I learned that low prices were pulling in the worst clients, not the most clients, and the people who pay more act like actual grown ups about my time. Anyone else here raise rates and find out the cheap folks were never the loyal ones anyway?
