We did a silly victory dance right there in the aisle, it was AWESOME.
I noticed three cafes now offer tasting flights similar to wine bars. It's a blast to compare flavors, but is it worth the extra cost? Have you guys seen this where you live?
Everyone on my feed keeps groaning about the same template being used all week... but I don't mind it. Take that 'guy looking back' meme... it started with just checking out another person, but now it's about choosing between snacks or games. People say it's dead, but I think seeing how it changes is fun. It's like watching a joke get retold with new twists each time. Sure, some are lazy copies, but the clever ones make me laugh more. I guess I just enjoy the familiar more than always chasing what's new.
Every writing prompt about food is just another magical chef story. Can we try something new, like a normal person dealing with a bad restaurant job?
Everyone says to watch the whole season of 'The Bear' at once, but I tried that and barely remember it. I watched 'Severance' week by week and still think about each episode. When you binge, all the episodes blend together and you lose the impact. My friends call me old school, but I like having time to talk about what happened. Taking breaks lets you guess what comes next and makes it more fun. Binging turns great stories into background noise, and that's a shame.
I thought her ways were slow and boring. Now I see that's what makes things turn out right.
I was painting a mural in my bedroom and decided to use watercolors. I mixed salt into the wet paint to get a starry night effect, which was surprisingly easy. What other watercolor tricks work well for large-scale home decor?
Used to be so simple, just watching gears turn for hours. Now every video has to be ASMR or super edited, but the old stuff still zones me out perfect.
I forgot to close the window first, and he got out, so now I always check the room before we start.
I thought it would make work more fun, but mixing personal and professional ruined both.
Just like I don't only collect one country's stamps, I learned not to put all my cash in one stock. It helps if one part drops, the others can still do okay. (I started with a couple cheap sets and added more over time.)
I started using old coffee grounds in my garden. It's a good way to recycle and help plants grow. Coffee grounds add nitrogen to the soil, which plants need. My roses bloomed more after I mixed in grounds. Just sprinkle them around the base, no need to buy plant food. It saves cash and cuts down on trash. Do you use kitchen scraps for your plants too?
Parting with them was tough after so long. How do you handle similar clutter?
The quality was so good that I sold my old camera and put the money towards my next flight.
