Rant: blew $650 on a CRM setup that nobody on my team ever opened
Last spring I paid a guy $650 to set up a full customer tracking system for my little lawn care business. He loaded in every name, set up automated reminders, the works. Two months later I checked and my one helper had never logged in once. He just kept texting me addresses from his phone like always. I ended up cancelling the subscription and eating the setup fee. Now I keep track of everything in a $3 notebook from the drugstore and honestly it works better. What software has actually stuck for you guys, or is paper still king?
Man, this is just like every fancy app I've ever tried for anything, the moment it takes more than two seconds to open, people go right back to what they know. My sister bought a whole meal planning app and still just scribbles dinners on the back of junk mail. Paper wins because it never asks you to log in.
