Found a simple trick to speed up my bookkeeping by a full hour each week
I spent years manually sorting receipts into categories for my freelance tax prep, and it always ate up a whole Sunday afternoon each month. Then a friend at the co-op told me to try a cheap receipt scanner app that reads text automatically, and it cut my sorting time down to about 20 minutes. Has anyone else found a little tool or habit that saved them more time than they expected?

QuickBooks auto-categorizes my receipts now saves me way more than an hour a week.
