Lost a whole week in Rio Rancho to a scope creep gig, be careful what you say yes to
Last week I said yes to a small website job for a shop off Southern Blvd in Rio Rancho and it ate my whole week. It started as 3 pages and somehow turned into 11 pages plus a logo plus a newsletter signup, all for the same $400 we agreed on. I said yes to every little add-on because I wanted the referral, and by Thursday I was answering texts at 11pm. Now I'm wondering how you all handle it when a flat rate job keeps growing, do you just stop the work or send a new quote mid job?
