Stopped by that new coffee shop on Central and saw a sign for a 'freelancer discount'
I was at The Brewed Awakening yesterday and they had a little chalkboard offering 15% off for anyone who shows a client invoice. It got me thinking, why don't more local spots do something like that for us? What other places in town have you guys found that actually try to help out freelancers?

It's cool to see places catching on that freelancers are basically keeping weird hours in their cafes. The library downtown started a co-working space with free meeting rooms if you show proof you're self-employed. Makes way more sense than just student discounts everywhere. We're the ones buying overpriced lattes at 3pm on a Tuesday.

Yeah, the "overpriced lattes at 3pm on a Tuesday" line is way too real. It's nice when a place actually sees us as regulars and not just weird day-drinkers. More spots should get that we're basically their afternoon crowd.
