DAE think AI art is getting too good too fast?
Three years ago, a tool in San Francisco made weird blobs, but last month I saw a piece that looked like a real photo. Some say this is amazing progress, others worry it's moving faster than the rules can keep up. Where do you stand on the speed of this change?

But what if the speed is the whole point? I get why it feels wild, but the crazy fast jumps are how we find out what the tech can really do and what problems it makes. Waiting for perfect rules would mean we never learn the real stuff we need to make good rules in the first place. It's messy, but sometimes you have to see the crash to know where to put the guardrails.

Facebook's early motto was "move fast and break things," and that mindset is still the default. We keep building new tech on the broken pieces of the last thing we rushed out. The cycle just gets faster and the breaks get bigger.

It reminds me of how fast social media changed everything, lol. We went from simple profiles to algorithms running our lives before we even had a real talk about it. The tech always seems to sprint ahead while we're still figuring out the last thing.
