Dropped $50 on an AI journaling app that just called me dramatic
I paid $50 for this app that's supposed to analyze your mood patterns and give advice, but after a week it basically told me I overthink grocery lists. Has anyone else had a chatbot roast them over mundane stuff?

$50 for a week of feedback sounds like a pretty fair deal honestly, most therapists charge triple that for an hour of telling you the same thing. Getting called out for overthinking grocery lists might actually be useful if it stops you from spending 20 minutes comparing peanut butter brands like it's a life or death choice. Sounds like the app is doing exactly what it's supposed to do - holding up a mirror to your habits, even if the reflection is a little harsh lol.

I mean I feel personally attacked here because I once spent 45 minutes in the pasta aisle trying to decide between two brands of spaghetti that are literally the same thing. Maybe I need this app too.

My buddy Marcus spent $30 on one of those habit tracker apps that sends you push notifications. Third day in it told him "Bro you've been staring at your phone for 4 hours just move." He sent me a screenshot and we laughed about it for a week. @casey268 is onto something though because Marcus actually started taking walks after that. Sometimes the blunt ones work better than the nice ones I guess.
