My friend's AI caught a weird shadow on her roof scan (turned out to be a leak).

That's wild it spotted diseases you couldn't see. Shows how these models can pick up on tiny patterns we miss. Makes me wonder what else we're overlooking in plain sight.

Yeah but how many times does it just see things that aren't there. My cousin's scan got flagged by an AI last year and it was a total false alarm, caused a bunch of stress for nothing. These models find patterns, sure, but they don't know what those patterns mean half the time. It feels like we're getting excited about a new hammer and calling everything a nail.
