PSA: The AI traffic system near my kid's school is a total mess

Honestly, I drop my kid off at Maple Elementary every morning, and the new AI traffic lights are just broken. Tbh, they're supposed to adjust based on congestion, but they keep turning red when no one's there. Ngl, it's causing huge backups during rush hour. I've seen three near-misses because cars get confused. The city spent a fortune on this, and it's worse than the old timers. My neighbor works in tech and says the sensors are probably misaligned. But nothing's been fixed for weeks. It's like they forgot about us after installing it.

Seriously, is it really that huge of a problem? New tech always glitches out at the start. Those close calls sound bad, but drivers might be rushing or not looking. A few weeks isn't that long for the city to sort out sensor issues. The old timed lights had their own flaws too. It's probably just growing pains and will get fixed soon enough.
