Showerthought: that AI music generator video I saw actually made me rethink my workflow

I watched a demo of Suno's new voice cloning feature last night where someone recorded 30 seconds of humming and it built a full track around it. Made me realize I've been overcomplicating my creative process by jumping straight into complex tools instead of starting raw like that. Anyone else find AI tools push you to experiment more than refine?

Wait, hold on - did you say 30 SECONDS of humming turned into a full track? That's wild! Like I can barely hum a full song without forgetting the tune halfway through, let alone have a whole AI build out something professional off that little input. I definitely feel you on the overcomplicating part though. It's so easy to get buried in all the fancy plugins and settings when really the best stuff comes from just messing around with an idea as fast as possible before you overthink it to death.

lol yeah 30 seconds of humming and suddenly you're a producer, guess i should've tried that in high school instead of my garage band phase. but seriously, if the AI can make that sound good, maybe i need to start humming more and tinkering less.

Jumping straight to complex tools forces you to learn the craft and make deliberate choices, not just accept whatever the AI spits out from a 30 second hum.
