Spent 14 hours training an AI model that still couldn't tell a cat from a couch
I was trying to build a simple image classifier for my pet blog using a pre-trained model from last year. Figured it would take me an afternoon, but after 14 hours of tweaking layers and data sets, it kept labeling my orange tabby as "brown sofa." Has anyone else hit a wall where the AI just refuses to learn the basics?

Oh man, I totally disagree here... 14 hours is nothing for getting a model to work right. Maybe the problem is your training data, not the AI itself.

Last time I spent 14 hours on a dataset it was just pixel noise.
