That chat with my 12 year old nephew about AI made me feel ancient
He asked why I use ChatGPT for recipes when he just asks it to draw him a dinosaur riding a skateboard, and then he said 'your apps are for boring people'. It hit different because he sees AI as a toy while I see it as a tool, so has anyone else had a kid flip their whole perspective on what this tech is for?

Man, that hit me right in the gut. Kids really live in a whole different world with this stuff, don't they? It's wild how they just see the fun side while we're over here trying to make it useful for our daily grind. I bet he thinks you're the boring one too, which is honestly kinda funny if you think about it. But it does make you wonder if we're missing something by always looking for the practical angle.
