The airport parking lot AI that caught my delivery route mistake
I was dropping off near the Phoenix Sky Harbor long term lot and noticed this new AI system tracking open spots in real time. The screen showed 34 spots free at 2pm, but the app said 8. Turns out the AI was pulling live gate sensor data while the old app just guessed. It saved me a 15 minute circle around row H, and now I kinda trust these smart parking things more than the humans running the lot. Has anyone else seen one of these kiosks actually work better than the official app?

That kiosk at Phoenix totally saved my bacon too last month. My app said the whole east lot was full, but the screen showed three open spots right by the entrance. Drove straight to one, no circling. The old system had me ready to park at the rental car return. And yeah, that thing even caught a spot the guy with the orange vest was about to rope off for construction. Smart tech > bored employees checking phones, every time.

Figured these kiosks were just another gimmick the airport paid big money for. Then last month at Sky Harbor I watched one flag a spot that the lot attendant walked right past, said it was taken. The sensor was right, the guy was wrong. Now I check the screens before I even trust the painted lines on the pavement. Still won't use their text alerts though, those things lie worse than my old GPS.
