Warning: My AI automation tool saved 20 hours but almost deleted my client database
Last month I got super excited about this new AI workflow tool that promised to auto-organize my client files. Set it up to sort through 500+ old documents from a project in Austin. It worked great for 3 days, then it decided my active client list was 'duplicate data' and started merging everything into one giant folder. Caught it just before it nuked 6 months of invoices. Anyone else have an AI tool that went rogue on them?

Eh not sure ai "almost deleted" anything if you caught it in time. Sounds more like it broke your file structure which is bad enough.

Right but isn't the bigger problem that it was even able to do that in the first place? Like what happens when someone doesn't catch it in time because they're busy or tired.

Right, but @xenam84's point still stands - the fact that it even has the ability to mess with your file structure at all is the real issue here. I mean, what's next, it decides to "optimize" your photos by deleting everything it thinks is blurry while you're sleeping? Pretty sure "caught it in time" just means you got lucky, not that the problem isn't there.
