Can we talk about how a 4 quart basket only fits one layer of wings?
I picked up a bag of frozen wings at Costco in Chandler a couple months back and figured I would just dump them in and let it rip. Turns out my 4 quart basket only holds about 8 wings in a single layer, and if I stack them they come out soggy on the bottom and burnt on top. I ended up cooking them in 3 batches and it took almost 40 minutes total, which is longer than my oven would have taken. Does everyone just cook smaller batches, or am I missing some trick with the rack insert?
