DAE think preheating the air fryer is why my first batch of wings always comes out better than the second?
I've been cooking wings in my Ninja air fryer for about a year now and I finally figured out why batch one is always crispier. If I don't let it run empty at 400 for 3 minutes before the second batch goes in, the skin comes out rubbery every single time. My brother in Reno swears you don't need to preheat at all between batches but I think he's just not paying attention to the texture. Does anyone else preheat between rounds or am I just wasting time?
Wait, your brother thinks you don't need to preheat between batches at all? That's wild. Cold basket on raw wings is just asking for soggy skin, tell him to actually look at what comes out.
