First time cooking wings from frozen came out better than thawed
I always thought you had to thaw chicken wings before air frying them. Last Tuesday I was in a rush after work so I just tossed a dozen frozen wings in my Cosori at 380 for 25 minutes. Shook the basket halfway through and they came out crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Has anyone else had better luck cooking frozen wings instead of thawed ones?

You ever think it might have something to do with the ice crystals steaming the inside while the outside gets direct heat? I've noticed the same thing with frozen chicken thighs in my air fryer, they come out way more tender than thawed ones. Plus you don't have to remember to take them out of the fridge the night before, which is a lifesaver after a long day. I bet the extra moisture from the ice helps keep the meat from drying out when you're cooking at a high temp like that.

Oh man, you're out here playing 4D chess with frozen chicken while I'm still trying to remember to turn the air fryer on. I've definitely noticed that too though, frozen stuff comes out juicier somehow. Guess I've been overthinking it all this time, thinking thawed was the way to go. Maybe I should just embrace my lazy side and stop defrosting altogether.
