Hit 200 wings cooked in my air fryer this month... is that too many?

I counted up last night and realized I made an even 200 chicken wings in my air fryer over the last 30 days, which surprised me because I never planned to track it. My wife thinks that's a crazy amount for one guy, but I figure it beats ordering takeout or deep frying them in a pot of oil. What's the most you guys have cooked of one thing in a month, and do you think there's a limit before you're just going overboard?

That beats ordering takeout" - man that hit home. I went through a phase last summer where I was making black bean burgers almost every night in my air fryer. Not even the good frozen ones, I was mashing up canned beans and forming patties myself like some kind of maniac. Hit like 45 burgers in a month before I realized I hadn't eaten beef in weeks and my friends started asking if I went vegetarian. I wasn't, I just really liked the crunch the air fryer gave those bean patties. 200 wings sounds dedicated though, not crazy. If anything you're probably saving money compared to Buffalo Wild Wings prices.

Man @ryan_hart38 you get it - once you lock in on something that tastes good and comes out perfect every time, it's hard to switch it up. I had a month where I was making those frozen battered fish fillets almost daily, just because the air fryer makes them so crispy compared to the oven. That bean burger thing sounds legit too, I might have to try that because 200 wings is starting to wear on me a little.

The bean burger thing made me laugh because my buddy Mike went through the EXACT same phase. He was making those homemade black bean patties every night, got so good at it he started adding chopped mushrooms and corn to the mix. Then one day his landlord came over to fix the sink and saw his freezer stacked with patties and asked if he was running a food truck out of his apartment. Mike had to explain no, he just REALLY liked his air fryer bean burgers and couldn't stop making them. He finally quit after three months when he burned his hand on the basket for the fifth time.
