Just figured out you can reheat pizza in the air fryer without it getting soggy by putting it on a wire rack instead of the basket

I used to put pizza straight on the basket and the bottom got all soft and gross, but after 3 tries with a cheap metal cooling rack I bought at Dollar Tree last week, the crust came out crispy like it was fresh from the pizzeria - has anyone else had luck with this trick?

It worked for me too, just made sure the rack was stable.

I used to be skeptical about putting a wire rack in the air fryer for pizza, but after reading this I finally gave it a shot with my leftover slices last night. The crust came out way better than my old method of just tossing it in the basket and hoping for the best. Did you set the temp any different from usual when you tried it?

yo same thing happened to me @robin896, i was just tossing leftover pizza in the basket and it always came out a mess. tried the wire rack thing a couple days ago with the temp at 350 for like 4 minutes, flipped it halfway through, and the cheese got all bubbly while the bottom was actually crunchy. never going back to the basket method.
