My mom's parchment paper tip saved my air fryer from a mess

So my mom visited last month and saw me loading up frozen fries straight into the basket. She said, 'cut a sheet of parchment to fit and poke holes in it first.' I thought it was extra work, but I gave it a shot. Not only did the fries come out crispier, but cleanup took like 2 minutes instead of scrubbing stuck bits for 15. Has anyone else tried lining the basket, or do you swear by just spraying oil?
