An old timer told me to stop using a torque wrench on brake bleeder screws and I got mad about it for a week
Then I snapped one on a 737 main gear and spent 4 hours drilling it out, and now I do it by hand with a stubby wrench for the last quarter turn. Anybody else got a shortcut they had to learn the hard way?
