That $180 inspection camera I bought in Phoenix paid for itself in one afternoon

I almost skipped buying a borescope for a baffle check on a Cessna last month, but a senior guy talked me into it. Found a cracked exhaust tube that would've meant a redo after reinstallation, probably a solid 6 hours of extra labor. For a tool I thought was overkill, it already saved my back and my wallet. Has anyone else had a pricey tool surprisingly earn its keep on the first use?
