That Tuesday the lav vacuum hose sprayed blue juice all over my arms

I was doing a routine 24-month check on a 737 in Tulsa and the quick disconnect blew mid-service, covering me and the floor in that sweet-smelling blue stuff, so has anyone else had to fish pieces of wet wipes out of that line connector with needle-nose pliers for an hour?

Ever try grabbing the wrong piece and losing it deeper into the blue juice?

Losing it deeper into the blue juice" gave me actual chills. That stuff is like quicksand for small parts. I dropped a spring once and it never came back. Just sat there mocking me from the bottom. Had to drain the whole machine to get an o-ring out once. Never again.
