A homeowner in Tampa pointed out my wire runs looked messy behind the panel
They said, 'I know it works, but it looks like a rat's nest back there.' I started using numbered zip ties and a label maker for every job after that. How do you guys keep your panel work clean for the customer?

That "rat's nest" comment would have gotten to me too. I used to figure the inside of the panel was my business as long as it was safe and worked right. But a customer seeing that mess... it just looks like you don't care. Now I spend the extra ten minutes making it straight and labeled. It shows you respect their house.

The ten minutes is always worth it.

Yeah, that "rat's nest" line is brutal. I'd be thinking about it all week. Juliaa65 is right, it just screams that you rushed the job. My move is to bundle the wires with velcro straps by circuit, it makes future work way easier than cutting a bunch of zip ties.
