Hardwired vs wireless sensors, the retrofit in Phoenix changed my mind

I did a full apartment building retrofit last month in Phoenix and swapped out a wireless system for hardwired sensors. The wireless units kept dropping signal through the stucco walls, even with repeaters. After the third false alarm call on unit 12B, I pulled everything and ran new wire. The hardwired setup took an extra day but the panel stopped throwing supervision faults entirely. Has anyone else had better luck with wireless on metal-frame buildings or is that just a lost cause?
