Hit 200 installs this month and it threw me off
I crossed 200 residential alarm installs in my van just last week and honestly I didn't even notice until I counted back through my invoices. That number felt huge to me because I started this trade solo two summers ago in a small town near Spokane and never expected to get that far. Has anyone else been surprised by a milestone like that and did it change how you looked at your work?

I hit 230 installs last month and it honestly snuck up on me too (I do commercial fire panel work on the side and almost missed it). I was chasing a tricky zone fault on a Vista panel when I realized I'd blown past my old annual record in just four months. It gave me a weird confidence boost, like maybe I actually know what I'm doing out here after all.

Ngl I kind of see it the opposite way. Hitting that number just made me realize how many systems I've put in that I'll probably never see again until something breaks. Feels less like a milestone and more like a reminder of how much work is out there waiting to go wrong.

My neighbor hit 200 fence posts once and didn't even realize until his wife asked why there were suddenly so many holes in the yard. He said it made him feel like a journeyman or something, which I thought was kind of funny.
