Pro tip: I blew $340 on motion sensors that run on 9V batteries, now I feel dumb every service call
Replaced a whole panel last month with those battery sensors because the homeowner wanted no new wiring, and now I'm back at the same house in Des Moines every few months swapping 9Vs instead of a resistor, so save yourself the headache and run the wire to hardwired sensors.

Those 9V sensors usually last a year or two, not a few months, so something else is draining them.
