Shoutout to the guy who told me to use a zip tie for a stuck sensor in a Denver attic last summer
I was about to cut the whole wire run after fighting a jammed PIR for an hour, but looping a small zip tie through the release slot and pulling sideways popped it right off the bracket without breaking anything.

My buddy had the same thing happen with a smoke detector. He was ready to smash it with a hammer before someone told him to try a zip tie. Worked like a charm.
