That installer at the supply counter said keypads are dead, and I can't stop thinking about it
Was picking up a 50ft spool of 22/2 in Phoenix last Tuesday and the guy next to me said he hasn't mounted a physical keypad in 8 months, all app now. I get the convenience angle but I keep thinking about the older clients who don't want a phone for their alarm, plus what happens when the wifi drops. Anyone else getting pushback from customers who still want a real keypad by the door, or am I just old school?
