Appreciation post: that week in '22 when I only had to take down one pine in Asheville
Had a week back in June where every call was just a simple prune or a dead limb removal, no storms, no drama, and I actually finished early on a Friday for the first time in months, anyone else have a run of jobs that felt way too easy?

Don't you almost start looking for something to go wrong?

Caught myself doing that last week. My friend Jenny just bought a house and everything looked perfect at first. She kept checking the water pressure and testing all the outlets even though nothing was wrong. Then I noticed her staring at a tiny crack in the ceiling paint for like five minutes straight. Finally she admitted she was waiting for some big problem to show up because the place seemed too good to be true.

Used to roll my eyes at that kinda paranoid thinking until I closed on my first place last year. ivan462, you're dead right, the relief of closing wears off fast and suddenly you're staring at light switches wondering if they're gonna spark or something.
