Finally got my shower drain math right, 2% slope actually matters
I redid my bathroom floor last month and kept ignoring the pitch because I figured water would find the drain anyway. Turns out 1% slope means a puddle that sits for 3 hours and drives you insane. I borrowed a laser level from my neighbor Dave and measured every tile row, total pain but worth it. Water now disappears in like 20 seconds flat. Has anyone else fought a floor slope that looked fine but just didn't work?
