Hit 50 property bids in 4 months without realizing it

I was just going through my files from this year and counted 50 property bids I've done since April. That blew my mind because I thought I was maybe at 25 or 30. It made me realize how much time I'm actually spending on estimates versus actually doing the work. Has anyone else counted up something like this and been shocked at the real number?

Oh please. Quantity over quality just means you're busy, not successful.

Oh I'm going to push back on this one. Those 50 bids aren't wasted time if even a quarter of them turn into actual work. I've been doing this long enough to know that the more estimates you put out there the better your chances of landing the good jobs. The real problem is when people stop bidding because they think they're already busy enough. You might be missing out on some really solid projects that could pay better than what you're working on now.

Honestly I used to bid on everything and my close rate went way up after I got pickier.
