Hit 500 consecutive days of walking my dog no matter the weather

I just passed 500 days in a row walking my pup for at least 30 minutes. It started as a random New Year thing, but then I kept going through rain, snow, and that one 110 degree July afternoon. What surprised me was how it changed my own mood more than hers. At day 200 I thought about quitting, but now I feel weird if I miss it. Have any of you been tracking a random habit that just kind of stuck way longer than you expected?

Dude that's wild. 500 days of rain, snow, and 110 degree heat? Your dog must think you're some kind of superhero or just super stubborn lol. I started trying to do 10 pushups every morning like a year ago and I think I lasted maybe 3 weeks before I gave up. Props to you for actually sticking with something that long, even if it was just for the dog.

Yeah @mason.drew, 3 weeks is pretty solid honestly.

The real trick is that dogs don't care about the weather or how tired you are, they just care about that walk. My buddy tried the same thing but with a husky - that dog would drag him out in blizzards like it was nothing. 500 days straight means you've probably memorized every crack in the sidewalk for miles around. That's some serious commitment right there.
