I just lost $150 on a 'premium' SEO keyword tool that gave me junk data
The reports looked fancy, but the search volume numbers were totally off when I checked them against Google's own tools. Has anyone else found a reliable keyword tracker that doesn't cost a fortune?

What's the best free one you've found? I used to pay for those tools too until I realized the free versions are just as good lol.

Nah, free versions are just as good? I gotta disagree hard. The free ones I've tried always hit you with limits, like only letting you export five reports a month or locking basic features behind a paywall. You end up wasting time working around the restrictions instead of just getting stuff done. Paying a bit usually saves a ton of hassle.

So Andrew thinks the free ones are just as good? Has he actually tried to finish a real project with one? I tried to use a free design tool last week and it watermarked everything after the third save. You spend more time fighting the software than doing your work. That's not "just as good," that's a demo version pretending to be a full tool. Paying a little is cheaper than wasting your own time.
