PSA: I blew $60 on a cheap folding table for our garage sale and it held up better than the one I rented for $30
I always assumed the cheap plastic folding tables would sag or snap, so two years back I rented a heavy one from a party store in Akron for $30 plus a $40 deposit I almost lost when I returned it a day late. Last month I grabbed a $60 plastic one at a big box store on a whim because the line was short, and it sat in my driveway holding about 80 pounds of kids clothes and old tools for two days without a wobble. Now I'm sitting on a $60 table I don't really need and wondering why I ever bothered renting. Has anyone found a good way to store one of these things without it taking over the garage?
