PSA: I was using the wrong kind of question in this forum for months
I kept asking super broad stuff like 'how do I get better at guitar?' and my posts got zero replies. A guy in the comments finally said 'you gotta ask something specific you can actually answer, like what pick to use for fast strumming'. That one tip changed everything. What's a specific question you asked here that got a really good answer?

Ever notice how @matthew_west's tip works for fixing stuff at home too?

Yeah, the "something specific you can actually answer" part is so true. I used to ask vague stuff about mixing music and got nothing. Then I posted "what's a simple way to stop my kick drum from sounding muddy in headphones" and got like ten solid fixes to try that night. It's like you have to give people a real puzzle to solve, not just a huge, fuzzy goal.

Reminds me of how a lot of car noise is in that same range. Makes sense it'd work for a kick too.
