Rant: I tried asking vague questions versus super specific ones in this group

The specific ones, like 'How do I fix a 404 error on a WordPress site after a plugin update,' got actual answers in 20 minutes. Anyone else notice that or am I just lucky?

Disagree, gotta push back on that. Sometimes the super specific question gets you a quick fix but misses the bigger picture. A vague question like "my site is broken after an update" can start a wider talk about backup habits or update procedures. The fast answer isn't always the best one for learning.

Honestly, vague questions just make people scroll right past them.

Yeah, gotta admit I'm part of the problem. See a wall of text with "help plz" and my brain just checks out. But @margaretc42 has a point about the wider talk. My own dumb example: asked why my coffee tasted bad. Quick answer was "clean your machine." The vague follow-up chat got me to finally fix my nasty water filter. Learned more from the ramble.

Yeah that's a good point Margaret, the quick fix can actually make things worse cause you never learn why it happened in the first place. The rambly conversations are where you pick up the real habits that stop you from breaking things again.
