My buddy had this happen on a forum last year. He kept posting stuff like "thoughts on the new thing?" and people just ignored him. He finally asked a specific question about fixing a leaky faucet with a certain brand of washer. Got like twenty replies with step by step instructions. Totally changed how he asks for help online now.

It's tough when you just want a general read on something. People online seem to skip right over vague questions. Getting specific is basically the only way to get a real response.

I remember reading this thing from a psychology blog that said people's brains just skip over vague stuff because there's nothing to latch onto lol. Your buddy's faucet story proves that perfectly.
