Spent $300 on a 'pro' online course that was just recycled blog posts
I bought this digital marketing course last month thinking it would have new strategies. It was basically just a bunch of old articles from 2018 read out loud in videos. On one side, maybe I should have checked the reviews better. On the other, they really made it sound like it was all new stuff. Has anyone else felt tricked by a course that promised way more than it gave?

Ugh that's so frustrating. I mean the 2018 thing is a big red flag, digital marketing changes way too fast for that. Maybe it's just me but I've noticed a lot of those "pro" courses are just repackaged free info. You're right to feel tricked, they totally oversell it.

Been there for sure. I got burned on a social media course that was just outdated blog posts. Now I only buy if there's a clear list of updated modules or a money back guarantee. I also check if the teacher is actually doing the work right now, not just talking about past wins. Finding a small community with real time advice helped me way more than any course. What do you look for before you buy something like that?

Right? It's like they think we can't tell the difference. I once bought a course that was basically a long YouTube video. Makes you feel a bit silly for falling for it, honestly.
