The realization my GPS directions were 1.2 miles wrong in Portland

Last month I drove to a food cart pod in Southeast Portland that a friend swore was off Division Street. My phone said turn at 82nd, so I did, and ended up in some random parking lot behind a hardware store. It took me 20 minutes to figure out the cart pod moved to 80th and Clinton back in March. That got me thinking, how often do we just follow the first source without double checking? I pulled up the cart's Instagram and there was a pinned post about the move from 3 weeks ago. So now I always cross reference any address with the actual business's social media before I head out. Has anyone else lost time trusting a stale listing over the business itself?
