The week my 'ask anything' forum turned into a support group for haunted toasters
It started Monday when a user asked if their toaster could be possessed because it only burned images of cats. By Wednesday, three more people posted about appliances acting strange (one blender only made smoothies at 3 AM). I spent Friday afternoon reading a 50-comment thread debating ghost types versus electrical faults. Has anyone else's normal Q&A space suddenly gone off the rails like that?

Honestly that's just how the internet works now. Normal spaces get weirdly specific because people finally have a place to talk about the strange little things in their life. It's like we're all finding our niche panic buddies. Your haunted toaster forum is basically the modern version of neighbors talking over a fence, but the fence is global and the gossip is about angry kitchen gadgets. Once a few people admit something odd, it gives everyone else permission to share their own weird stories.

That "niche panic buddies" thing reminds me of a forum where everyone's garage door openers failed during full moons.
