Thought alkaline water was total hype until I tried it for 3 weeks straight
Groggy mornings were just part of my life for years until a buddy in Austin dared me to switch to pH 9.5 water for 21 days. By day 10 I wasn't crashing after lunch anymore. Has anyone else had a random wellness thing actually work on them?

I mean have you looked into how your area water is treated? Some places add a ton of stuff that can mess with your body's natural balance. I switched to a simple filter pitcher at home and noticed I wasn't as bloated after meals. The pH thing might be placebo but if it helps with energy then who cares right? Maybe start with just testing your tap water first before buying expensive bottles. Could save you some cash and you'd know you're actually doing something different.

Gotta gently disagree on the bloating thing - that's usually from gut bacteria reacting to food, not tap water minerals. Placebo or not though, if the alkaline water keeps you from crashing I'd say roll with it.

Yeah the filtering thing actually worked for my friend. She was drinking alkaline water for a couple months and felt great then switched to just brita filtered tap and said she couldn't tell the difference. So probably the minerals aren't what matter, it's more about what you're not drinking.
