A guy at the Grand Canyon star party knocked my tripod over and honestly it helped
I was set up at Mather Point in April with my little 70mm and he bumped it right as I was nailing focus on the Pleiades. Now I always shoot with a 3 pound sandbag on the hook, has anyone else had a stranger wreck a shot and end up with a better setup because of it?

Mather Point in April sounds like a wind tunnel, so maybe the guy did you a favor. My last "helper" was a gust that took my whole rig down, and now I bolt everything to a cinder block like it owes me money.
