Just dropped $40 on a cheap phone mount for my telescope
I got excited about taking pictures of the moon with my phone, so I ordered this plastic adapter online. It took two weeks to arrive and didn't fit my eyepiece at all. The clamp was too loose and my phone just wobbled. Ended up with a bunch of blurry shots and a useless piece of plastic. Anyone know a good, solid adapter that actually works?

My friend in Phoenix wasted three weeks on a plastic one too.

I had the same problem until I got a metal one with adjustable rings. What telescope are you using?

Yeah I gave up on plastic ones after two returns. @the_leo is right, metal is the way to go. I picked up the Celestron NeXYZ on sale for like 35 bucks and it actually locks onto the eyepiece tight. The adjustable rings make a huge difference too, clamps in solid so no wobble even at high zoom. If your scope has a 1.25 inch eyepiece, that adapter totally fixed the same issue I had.
