Read somewhere that stacking all those shots is the real trick. Good luck with the processing, that's the real grind lol

Yeah stacking is the whole game, isn't it? @simonlee is right about the processing grind, it can take forever. My best tip is to get your alignment perfect in the stacking software first, even if it takes a few tries, because a bad stack ruins everything later. I also make sure to shoot dark frames right after my session while the camera is still warm, it cuts down on so much noise. What stacking program are you planning to use?

Processing grind" is right, I've spent whole nights just getting the alignment to work. My best stacks usually happen when I'm about to give up and go to bed.

Totally agree about the dark frames. I even throw in some bias frames too, they help clean up the corners.
