My Orion Nebula shots from 2019 look like mush next to what I got last night with the same camera
Turns out the jump came from swapping my old unguided mount for a cheap tracking one and stacking 40 shots at 60 seconds each in Siril instead of 10 shots at 15 seconds, so has anyone else noticed their old astrophotos were ruined by short exposures more than by the camera itself?
